agent-media vs Higgsfield for AI drama series
Higgsfield is a large AI studio: many image, video and audio models, Cinema Studio for cinematic shots, Popcorn for storyboards and apps such as MicroDrama Studio, paid in credits that vary by model, length and resolution. agent-media does one job: a short drama series made from Claude, ChatGPT or Codex, with a season plan, a cast that stays the same in every episode and a price you approve before each episode is filmed. Pick Higgsfield to direct shots yourself across many models; pick agent-media to get finished episodes of a series from a conversation.

A studio of tools, or a series from a chat
Higgsfield gives a filmmaker a lot of control. Cinema Studio 3.0, in Higgsfield's words, can "feed up to 9 reference images (locations and characters)" and keeps "character identity" locked across every frame, with sound generated with the video. Popcorn plans up to 8 matching storyboard frames at a time. The MicroDrama Studio app is described as a way to "write, cast and shoot vertical micro-drama mini series". Higgsfield also runs Original Series, a streaming home for AI shows that starts with its contests.
agent-media is narrower on purpose. agent-media works inside the AI chat you already use: Claude, ChatGPT or Codex. You ask for a series, it interviews you in short rounds of multiple-choice questions, pitches three concepts if you have no idea yet, writes a story bible and a season grid, casts two leads and up to six recurring characters, and shows you each episode's script with its price before it films. Episodes are vertical 9:16, 15 to 60 seconds, at 480p or 720p, with captions burned in and no watermark.
Both work with AI assistants, in different ways
Higgsfield MCP connects your Higgsfield account to Claude or any MCP-compatible agent, and ChatGPT uses the Higgsfield plugin. Through it you generate images, videos, characters and audio from the chat. Higgsfield's help center notes that MCP always uses credits at standard rates; free generations apply only on its website.
agent-media's connection is a whole production flow rather than a set of generators. Your AI interviews you, plans the season, casts the series and shows each script with its price, then films the episode and remembers what happened for the next one. You buy a plan first, and the agent-media app shows the steps for Claude, ChatGPT or Codex right after checkout.
How the price is counted
Higgsfield counts credits. Its own pricing guide lists Starter at $15 a month for 200 credits, Plus at $49 for 1,000 and Ultra at $129 for 3,000, and says the cost of a clip depends on the model, the clip length and the resolution: on Seedance 2.0, going from 720p to 1080p "almost triples the price". The free plan has no credits, and its results cannot be used commercially.
agent-media plans are monthly: $49 for 300 seconds of video at 480p or 150 at 720p, $149 for 900 or 450, and $499 for 3,600 or 1,800. There is no free trial; if you have not filmed an episode within 7 days, your first payment is refunded. Every plan includes captions and no watermark, and seconds can be split across episodes any way you like, up to 60 seconds an episode.
Which one to pick
Both are good at different jobs:
- Pick Higgsfield if you want to direct shots yourself, try many models, push to 1080p or 4K, or make ads and films as well as drama.
- Pick agent-media if you want a series with the same cast every episode, made and approved in Claude, ChatGPT or Codex, without editing clips together.
- You can also use both: a studio for one-off hero shots, and a series maker for the weekly episodes.

Questions
Is agent-media a Higgsfield alternative?
For drama series, yes. Higgsfield is a broad studio of models and tools; agent-media makes short drama series with a fixed cast from Claude, ChatGPT or Codex, with every episode's script and price shown before it is filmed.
Does Higgsfield work in Claude?
Yes. Higgsfield MCP connects to Claude and other MCP agents for images, videos, characters and audio, and ChatGPT uses a Higgsfield plugin. Generations through MCP always use credits.
Which is cheaper for a 10-episode season?
On agent-media, ten 30-second episodes at 480p use the 300 seconds of the $49 plan. On Higgsfield the cost depends on the model, clip length and resolution you choose, so price your own shot list on its pricing page.
Can I get 1080p or 4K?
Higgsfield offers higher resolutions on some models. agent-media episodes are 480p or 720p, made for phone screens.
Is there a free plan?
Higgsfield has a free plan with no credits, whose results cannot be used commercially. agent-media has no free trial; the first episodes of every show are free to watch, and your first payment is refunded if you film nothing within 7 days.
Ready for episode 1?
Making starts at $49 a month. Monthly plans, no free trial. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Codex in the app after checkout.
