Short drama templates
Each template below gives you what a genre needs in a 20 to 60 second episode: the beats to check every script against, a one-line prompt to paste into Claude, ChatGPT or Codex, a sample three-episode arc, the cast to ask for, and a real free episode from our shelf in the same genre. Pick the one closest to your idea and change the premise.
How to use a template
Copy the prompt, swap in your own premise and keep the words “Interview me first”. The interview is free and asks the rest: the season size and episode length, the second lead, the ending, the setting and the leads' looks. Nothing is cast or filmed until you have read the plan and the episode 1 script with its price and said yes.
You need an agent-media plan to make episodes, from $49 a month for 300 seconds at 480p. Right after checkout, the app shows how to connect Claude, ChatGPT or Codex.
Revenge drama template
A revenge drama works in 30 seconds because the whole genre is one move: someone is humiliated, then they take the power back. Open on the humiliation, flip the status once per episode, and end on the next threat.
CEO romance template
A CEO romance runs on a gap in power: one lead owns the room, the other is not supposed to be in it, and each episode closes the gap by one line. Keep it to one look and one line per turn, end on who knows what about whom, and save the confession for the finale.
K-drama template
A short K-drama works on restraint: a rule nobody is allowed to break, feelings shown through small, specific gestures, and one line per episode that says more than it should. Plan the slow burn across the season, not inside one episode.
Workplace sitcom template
A short workplace sitcom is one bad idea per episode, said with total confidence, answered by one deadpan colleague. Build each episode as setup, escalation, punchline, a one-second reaction and a button, and let the next bad idea be the cliffhanger.
Mystery short drama template
A short mystery gives the viewer one question in episode 1 and one new clue per episode, each on a physical object, until the finale answers the first question. Every episode ends on a partial reveal or a betrayal, never on a full answer.
Questions
Are the templates free?
Yes. Read and copy any of them. Making the episodes needs a plan, from $49 a month. There is no free trial.
Can I mix two templates?
Yes. A CEO romance with a revenge engine, or a mystery played as a sitcom, both work. Say it in the first message and the plan will reflect it.
Which genre should I start with?
The one you would watch yourself. If you are unsure, revenge is the easiest to write short: the first line sets the stake and every episode flips the power once.
