What OpenArt's drama generator does

OpenArt says its drama generator is for short-drama studios, creators and storytellers, writers and novelists, and brands and marketers. You start from a logline, a script or a novel chapter, and add a reference image or a saved character to lock the leads. Then you choose the genre, the episode length and the vertical format, and its assistant, Ori, can ask you about them or choose for you. Finally you review the episodes in Scenes or the cut in Timeline, give spoken notes, and export.

The page describes multi-episode serial dramas that end on hooks, with dialogue or voiceover lip-synced to the cast and captions, and names romance, revenge, billionaire, fantasy and thriller among its genres. It says the leads keep their face, wardrobe and styling from episode to episode. It does not name an aspect ratio or a range of episode lengths.

Both connect to Claude, in different ways

OpenArt MCP and CLI make images and videos inside Claude, Cursor, Kimi and other MCP clients, with an OAuth sign-in and no API key. It spends the same credits as the website, and every plan lists access to it. The MCP page does not say it makes series or episodes, and it says "Character is on the roadmap", so consistent characters are not in the MCP yet.

agent-media's connection is the whole production. Your series is planned, cast, written and filmed from the conversation in Claude, and each episode is remembered for the next one.

How agent-media makes a series

agent-media works inside Claude. You ask for a series, and it interviews you in short rounds of multiple-choice questions, pitches three concepts if you have no idea yet, writes a story bible and a season grid with a cliffhanger for each episode, casts two leads and up to six friends or rivals, and builds up to eight locations. You approve the season plan, the cast, and each episode's script and price before it is filmed. Episodes are vertical 9:16, 15 to 60 seconds, at 480p or 720p, with captions burned in, no watermark and the same cast every time.

You connect Claude once with a browser sign-in: no API keys and nothing to install. The connect steps appear in the app after checkout. The interview offers 3, 5 or 10 episodes, or anything from 1 to 20, and a script you have not filmed yet can still be rewritten.

How the price is counted

OpenArt sells its suite per seat, in credits. Its pricing page shows Starter at $13 a seat a month with 4,000 credits, Plus at $27 with 12,000, Pro at $44 with 24,000 and Wonder at $175 with 106,000, and an annual toggle that says "UP TO 27% OFF". It does not make clear which billing period the figures belong to. Plus can add 5,000 extra credits for $15 a month.

On agent-media, Episode 1 of your own show is $1: one 30-second episode at 480p. A micro drama, ten 30-second episodes at 480p with the same cast, is $49 one-time, Episode 1 included, and a new show is another $49. Making many shows? Monthly plans are $49 for 300 seconds at 480p and $149 for 1,200, with half the seconds at 720p. If you have not filmed an episode within 7 days, your first payment is refunded in full.
