What PopShort does

PopShort calls itself "The One-Person AI Drama Factory", for planning, creating and producing short drama series. It has two ways in. In Drama Studio you start from an idea, and an AI Director builds a story bible, characters, plots and episode scripts, then Seedance storyboards and prompts. In Drama Canvas you start from a script or a novel, and it extracts the characters, scenes and props, generates the assets and matches music.

Characters, scenes and props are saved as reusable assets, and PopShort's FAQ says they can carry through to "Episode 50". The output is storyboards, prompts, episode scripts, a cover image and the final video made with Seedance. The aspect ratio, the episode count and the voices are not stated on PopShort's pages. The site also links an App Store app, "PopShort AI - Stream Short Drama", for watching.

A browser studio, or a chat

PopShort gives you a studio with storyboards and a canvas you can work on shot by shot, which suits a creator or a studio planning a long run of episodes.

agent-media keeps the whole job in a conversation in Claude. You answer the interview, read the season plan and the cast, then read each script with its price and say yes or ask for changes. There is no canvas or timeline: each episode comes back as a finished vertical video.

How agent-media makes a series

agent-media works inside Claude. You ask for a series, and it interviews you in short rounds of multiple-choice questions, pitches three concepts if you have no idea yet, writes a story bible and a season grid with a cliffhanger for each episode, casts two leads and up to six friends or rivals, and builds up to eight locations. You approve the season plan, the cast, and each episode's script and price before it is filmed. Episodes are vertical 9:16, 15 to 60 seconds, at 480p or 720p, with captions burned in, no watermark and the same cast every time.

You connect Claude once with a browser sign-in: no API keys and nothing to install. The connect steps appear in the app after checkout. The interview offers 3, 5 or 10 episodes, or anything from 1 to 20, and a script you have not filmed yet can still be rewritten.

How the price is counted

PopShort's pricing page lists Basic at $29.99 a month or $23.99 a month billed annually, with 2,350 PopCoins a month; Plus at $59.99 or $47.99, with 5,000; and Pro at $199.99 or $159.99, with 20,000. "Enterprise orders start at $1000." It estimates about 1 to 2 minutes of video on Basic, 3 to 4 on Plus and about 8 on Pro, "generated automatically with Drama Canvas, excluding manual edits, regenerations, or additional adjustments."

On agent-media, Episode 1 of your own show is $1: one 30-second episode at 480p. A micro drama, ten 30-second episodes at 480p with the same cast, is $49 one-time, Episode 1 included, and a new show is another $49. Making many shows? Monthly plans are $49 for 300 seconds at 480p and $149 for 1,200, with half the seconds at 720p. If you have not filmed an episode within 7 days, your first payment is refunded in full.
