Make a Cinderella short drama

A Cinderella short drama puts the person nobody sees in the room everyone wants to be in: a maid, a waitress or a cleaner is mistaken for someone rich for one night, and the heir cannot stop looking for her. Every episode the disguise slips a little more, until the truth about who she is lands in the finale. Below: the season beats, a prompt for Claude, a sample three-episode arc, the cast to ask for and the closest show on our shelf.

Why the Cinderella story works in 30 seconds

Everyone knows the shape, so you do not have to explain it. Show a uniform in the first frame and a gala in the second, and the viewer already knows what is at stake: the night, the mistake and the moment someone finds out.

The trope also has one of the strongest status flips in the format. She goes from invisible to watched in one scene, and every episode asks whether she can stay there. The stepsister, the boss or the heir's family each threaten to pull her back down, and each one gives an episode its last line.

Modern versions drop the glass slipper and keep the clue: a lost earring, a name tag left at the coat check, a voice he heard once. One object, on screen, carried across the season.

The beats of a 10-episode season

A season shape for ten episodes.

Inside each episode: open on the gap between her two lives, give her one small win, put a turn past the halfway mark, and end on someone close to recognizing her.

  • Episode 1: the maid, the gala and the mistake.
  • Episodes 2 to 4: the heir looks for her, and she hides in plain sight at work.
  • Episodes 5 to 7: the stepsister's plan to claim the night as her own.
  • Episodes 8 and 9: the truth about her family, and why she was at the gala at all.
  • Episode 10: the reveal, in the same ballroom.

The prompt to paste

Paste this into Claude once agent-media is connected. Keep “Interview me first”: Claude asks about the two leads, the setting, the clue she leaves behind and how the story should end, and nothing is filmed until you approve the plan, the cast and each script with its price.

TYPE THIS

“Using agent-media, make me a 10-episode Cinderella short drama: a hotel maid is mistaken for an heiress at a charity gala. Interview me first.”

A sample three-episode arc

The opening of that season, with the strongest hook in episode 3.

  • Episode 1, The Gala. Opens on the head of housekeeping: “Take the champagne up. Don't speak to anyone.” At the top of the stairs, the heir, Julian, mistakes Lucy for a guest. Turn: she lets him believe it. Last line, from Julian: “I didn't catch your name.” A partial reveal.
  • Episode 2, The Earring. Back in uniform, she cleans the suite where Julian is staying, and he does not recognize her, a small win. Turn: he is holding the earring she lost on the stairs. Last line, from Julian: “Find the woman who wore this.” A reversal setup.
  • Episode 3, The Claim. Her stepsister walks into the lobby wearing the matching earring and tells Julian it was her. Lucy is carrying towels right behind him. Last line, from the stepsister: “I knew you'd find me.” A betrayal, and the highest stakes so far.

Cast it

Ask for two leads and two or three recurring characters, all original fictional adults kept for the whole season. Every actor on our roster is fictional and made with AI, and none of them is a real person. Browse it for the type you picture and name that type in the interview. Faces are made new for each series, so your cast may look different from the profile.

  • Lead A, the maid: mid 20s, a uniform in episode 1 and one borrowed gown at the gala. Wants a way out, and to be seen. Secret: whose daughter she really is.
  • Lead B, the heir: late 20s or 30s, bored of every match his family arranges. Wants the woman from the stairs. Never looks at the staff, until he has to.
  • The stepsister: polished, quick and ready to claim the night.
  • The heir's mother or the heiress: the person who decides who belongs at the gala.

Variations to try

The same engine runs on other premises:

  • Flip it: a delivery rider is mistaken for the guest of honor at a family's party.
  • A waitress paid to stand in for an heiress, as in The Body Double, where the fiancé notices the small things the real Elena would never do.
  • A singer who covers for a famous voice backstage and has to keep the secret from the one person who heard her sing.

Mistakes to avoid

Cinderella stories go flat in a few predictable ways:

  • Revealing her too early. The heir should come close several times and miss; the reveal belongs to the finale.
  • A heroine who only waits. She should want something of her own, a job, a debt paid, an answer about her family, and chase it while he chases her.
  • A stepsister with no reason. Give her a debt or a fear of her own, and her plan becomes a story.
  • Losing the clue. The object from episode 1 should come back in the reveal.

Watch the closest one we made

The Body Double, episode 1: Mara is a waitress paid to pretend to be the heiress Elena for one week, and Elena's fiancé Nico starts to notice the small things Elena would never do. One ordinary thank you gives her away. It is the Cinderella engine turned into a secret identity drama: someone from the staff in the heiress's place, and the man close to finding out.

Questions

How do I make a Cinderella short drama with AI?

Connect agent-media to Claude, then paste the prompt on this page or describe your own premise. Claude interviews you, writes the season plan, casts two leads and up to six friends or rivals, and builds up to eight locations. You approve the plan, the cast, and each episode's script and price before anything is filmed. Episode 1 of your own show is $1.

Does it have to be a ball?

No. A charity gala, a wedding, a company party or a hotel opening all work. What matters is one night where she is mistaken for someone else, and one clue she leaves behind.

How long are the episodes?

Each episode is vertical 9:16 and 15 to 60 seconds long, at 480p or 720p, with captions burned in and no watermark. The 10-episode micro drama is 30 seconds per episode at 480p, $49 one-time with Episode 1 included.

Can the Cinderella be a man?

Yes. Any two fictional adult leads work. Say who is mistaken for whom in the first message or during the interview, and the season plan will follow.

YOUR SERIES

Send her to the gala. We film the morning after.

Episode 1 of your own show costs $1. Micro drama, 10 episodes: $49 one-time.
